Ohio State added its 19th commitment to the Class of 2013 when Donovan Munger said he will be a Buckeye.
Munger is a 6'4, 285 lb. defensive lineman out of Shaker Heights. Many recruiting services have him rated as a 4-start lineman and among the top 20 in the state.
Munger chose OSU after coming to Columbus on his official this past weekend. He had offers from UCLA, Michigan State, Tennessee, Georgia and others.
He becomes the fifth defensive lineman in the recruiting class of 2013 and the ninth from the state of Ohio. He played offensive lineman as well in high school and there is a possibility he could play that at Ohio State if the coaching staff needs more people there.
Ohio State now has around 3 or 4 scholarships left in the Class of 2013. The team is working under a reduced scholarship count due to NCAA sanctions resulting from a failure to monitor charge after football players were given improper benefits and caught selling university-given gifts for money.
