Columbus police and the Ohio State University Department of Public Safety have released the video from the riots the night of the National Championship game.

Video from that night shows police using mace and pepper spray to try to clear the streets.

Hundreds of students also tried to force their way into Ohio Stadium and were pepper sprayed.

Students said in the day following the celebration that they believed police over reacted.

According to the police action reports, communication and preparation should have been better that night.

In one report, police admitted they were unaware of a viewing party at the Ohio Union. After the game, hundreds of students poured out of the Union onto High Street.
