Gas Leak Temporarily Closes Part Of Upper Arlington Shopping Center

Part of an Upper Arlington shopping center was evacuated Wednesday due to an outdoor gas leak.

The leak was first reported around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 1600 block of West Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington.

City officials reported that the west side of the Shops on Lane Avenue starting at the Rusty Bucket, was temporarily closed.

Columbia Gas and fire crews responded to repair the leak.

No injuries were reported.
