Deputies Searching For Hit-And-Run Suspect

Licking County deputies are looking for the driver of a mini-van that is accused leaving the scene after hitting a juvenile on a bicycle.

According to the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, at about 6:30 p.m., March 24, 15-year-old Bristol Reece was riding his bicycle on Columbia Road in Etna Township, when a greenish gray colored mini-van struck him.

Deputies said the driver of the van did not stop after striking Reece, but a passenger side mirror was left behind at the scene.

Reece was treated at an area hospital with multiple injuries and was later released.

The mirror appears to be from a Honda minivan, according to deputies.
