A man accused of killing two people before he was shot by police was in court Tuesday morning.
Court records show that the victim Jenea Harvison was in the process of divorcing 24-year-old Roy Harvison when he allegedly came to the parking lot of her daycare business off Parson Avenue with a gun, fatally shooting Jenea and her brother Donell McDonald.
Roy Harvison was shot by a Columbus police officer after investigators say he did not drop his weapon when confronted by police. He is charged with two counts of murder.
Harvison was released from the hospital and arrested Monday.
In court Tuesday, a judge remanded Harvison’s bond and ordered him to stay away from the victims’ immediate family.
