A crash on the south end of Columbus closed the ramp from Interstate 270 west to Interstate 71 for multiple hours after a sign was damaged.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, an overhead sign was damaged after a crash Monday morning.

A crane was needed to remove the sign and a temporary sign also had to be installed.

The ramp has reopened.
