A Columbus man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl has been found guilty on two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Scott Spencer, 57, was found guilty after assaulting the 14-year-old victim at Highbanks Metro Park in August.
Prosecutors said Spencer and the victim met online. On the stand, Spencer said he did not know how old the victim was until a detective told him.
Spencer’s $200,000 bond was revoked for falsifying a document with the Ohio Supreme Court claiming Judge Everett Krueger should be removed for not allowing a speedy trial.
A sentencing hearing will be held April 29 at 2 p.m.
