Six drivers were arrested Friday night into Saturday morning for suspected drunk driving following a pair of low-staff sobriety checkpoints held in Columbus.
Police said 781 vehicles pass through the checkpoints on Morse Road east of Westerville Road and on Stelzer Road north of Easton Way.
Of those, 198 were checked and 11 were diverted for further inspection. Six were arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Police found two drivers that were driving under suspension, three operating without a license and four failing to use seatbelts. Police issued 12 other miscellaneous citations.
