A classic car is reunited with its owner after it was stolen 42 years ago.

According the Ohio State Highway Patrol Facebook page Paul Jones bought the 1967 corvette during his Senior year of high school, and five years later it was stolen. It seemed Paul and his wife Pam would never see the car again, but a recent investigation involving the Ohio state patrol recovered the car.

Pam made the trip from Texas to Ohio to reclaim the car for her husband who now suffers from Alzheimer’s. Pam says Paul remembers the car well, and having back has been therapeutic for him.

Pam plans to drive Paul around in his car as much as he wants.
