Video shot Sunday afternoon shows a dust devil wreaking havoc on a local market in California.
It happened in Palm Springs around 2 p.m. Sunday.
According to NBC News, the dust devil grows in size with little warning and damages several tents, vehicles and other property.
No injuries were reported.
A dust devil forms when heated air at ground level rises and as the circulation becomes smaller, the rotation of air becomes faster, creating a tornado-like effect.
