Armed Suspect Robs North Columbus Family Dollar

A suspect with a gun robs a north Columbus Family Dollar Sunday.

According to Columbus police, at about 9 p.m. Sunday, May 3, a man with his face covered, entered the Family Dollar in the 900 block of East Dublin Granville Road.

The man brandished a gun and demanded money from the worker, police said.

After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect ran from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build and was wearing a gray and black horizontally striped hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes.

Police ask anyone with information to call the Columbus Police Robbery Unit at 614-645-4665 or Crime Stoppers at 614-462-8477.
