Investigators Seek Man Who Stole $10,000 From 2 Banks (Image 1)

A man is suspected of stealing personal information to illegally withdrawal more than $10,000 from two Columbus banks.

Crime investigators said a man, believed to be between 55 and 65 years old, gave withdrawal slips to bank attendants at a pair of Huntington National Bank locations in March.

Investigators said the man took $6,000 from the bank at 150 W. Sycamore St. on March 19. They said he also took $4,500 from the bank at 1531 W. Lane Ave on March 20.

The suspect is described as black with a thin build. He was seen dressed in business attire, including a khaki trench coat, tan hat, white shirt and tie. He also had a graying mustache and beard and was seen wearing glasses.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person responsible for the alleged fraud and forgery.
