A former OSU marching band drum-major instructor was indicted Tuesday on rape charges in connection with the alleged rape of a 19-year-old student.

According to Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien, Christopher Stewart Kitchen is charged with two counts of rape, two counts of sexual battery and one count of failure to comply with underage alcohol laws.

O’Brien said Kitchen is accused of raping a 19-year-old student after inviting her to have drinks with him.

A court date for Kitchen has not been set.
