Paul Craig Boardman, an associate professor at the John Glenn School of Public Affairs, was charged with aggravated menacing after allegedly threatening to kill a colleague and then himself.
According to the criminal complaint from the Franklin County Municipal Court, Boardman called a human resources manager and threatened to kill Trevor Brown, director of the John Glenn School of Public Affairs, on April 29.
According to court documents, the human resources employee said this incident was related to an administrative investigation Boardman was the subject of.
Boardman was arrested at Indianola Avenue and Arden Road later that evening after being involved with a crash, and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and with failure to assure clear distance ahead.
Boardman will be back in court on May 22 at 9 a.m.
