Police: Northeast Side Market Robbed Wednesday Morning

Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a northeast side market Wednesday morning.

Just before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man entered the YBB Market at 2900 Westerville Road and demanded money after allegedly brandishing a firearm.

The store clerk gave the man an undetermined amount of money before the suspect fled.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his 20’s, approximately 6 feet tall, and skinny. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue sweat pants.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call Columbus Police Robbery Unit at (614) 645-4559.
