Five years after a man was killed inside a Hilltop-area club, investigators believe the shooter is still on the run.
Saturday marked the 5-year anniversary of the death of William Byrdsong, who died after an assault at an afterhours club on the west side of Columbus.
Witnesses said the shooter was one of two people who were kicked out Lollipops West on May 23, 2010. The shooter left and came back with a handgun, firing multiple shots into the club and striking two people.
Byrdsong was killed as a result of his injury. A second man was taken to the hospital and later released.
Investigators said the suspect is a black man with a small build and a brown complexion. He is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen with braids in his hair.
