Thousands of friends and family of an inspirational 14-year-old boy gathered to celebrate his life.

Brock “B-Rock” Johnson died after a lifelong battle with a rare autoimmune disease on May 20.

His story and passion for life impacted many throughout the Canal Winchester community, as well the sports and entertainment world.

On Sunday evening, the overflow crowd filled Mike Locke Stadium, in Canal Winchester.

“He taught me that everyday’s a gift so make the best of it,” said Josh Browning, one of Johnson’s former baseball teammates.

The service included a musical performance by Johnson’s brother, Tucker, and the reading of a letter from famous friend Robert Downey, Jr.
