Crime Stoppers Look For Alleged Armed Robber

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is looking for a suspect who robbed a Speedway Tuesday morning.

At 2:30 a.m., a man entered the front doors of the Speedway located at East Main Street and Brice Road and approached the clerk.  

The clerk thought the male was holding a gun in his right hand down to his side, according to a press release.

The suspect demanded money. The clerk complied and gave him money from the cash register, then the suspect fled out the front doors.   

The suspect is a black man, about 6’2″, medium build, wearing a black t-shirt, short black pants down to the middle of his shins, black ball cap, red bandanna over nose and mouth, and black gloves. The suspect was wearing no socks or shoes. Photos of the suspect may be viewed at www.stopcrime.org.
