Circleville Police arrested two people after midnight Monday during a traffic stop and seized guns, black tar heroin and cocaine.     

According to a press release, Officer Robert Morningstar stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 12:30 a.m. Monday. 

Drug paraphernalia was located in plain view from the outside of the vehicle. The occupants, driver Mollie Gerber, 30, of Powell and Jonte Jack, 33, of Columbus, were found to be in possession of black tar heroin and crack cocaine.  Three officers assisted with the search and located two loaded semi-automatic pistols in the vehicle. One had allegedly been reported as stolen from Athens County

Mollie and Jonte were arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs, receiving stolen property, improper transport of a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of cocaine and possession of heroin.  Due to being a convicted felon, Jonte was also charged with having weapons under disability. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
