Scotland-based Brewdog is down to two sites for its planned U.S. brewery, one in Central Ohio and one in Charleston, South Carolina.
The U.S. operation is expected to be a $4.6 million investment.
The company is one of the United Kingdom’s fastest growing brands, Columbus Business First reported in April.
BrewDog sales were $45.3 million in 2014 with an operating profit around $6 million. The company has 350 employees, including 90 at its headquarters in Scotland. It ships to more than 50 countries and has 28 bars of its own. None of its bars or bottle shops are in the U.S.
