Third-Graders Raise Money For K-9 Vest In Memory Of Fallen Officer (Image 1)
A third-grade class in Charlotte, N.C. raised $1,500 to buy a police K-9 vest in honor of an officer and his partner, who died last year. 

The students themselves sold accessories and jewelry for a dollar each. 

The effort is to honor Jason Crisp and his K-9 partner Maros, who were both killed in the line of duty during a manhunt in Burke County in March of 2014.
