A Columbus woman accused of luring a man into a van and shooting him was in Franklin County Court on Tuesday.
Police say 26-year-old Chiquetta Hager is the main player in this deadly attack.
Hager is charged with killing 29-year-old Courtney Elmore on May 31st on Willamont and Walcut Avenue.
Police searched for Hager and the van used during the murder for almost a week.
Hager was eventually arrested on June 6th along with her boyfriend Dante Young. Young is charged with tampering with evidence.
Police say the white Kia used in the shooting belongs to Young. The van was found hidden in Young’s detached garage on Velma Avenue.
Young was scheduled to appear in court, but refused to leave the jail two days in a row. Deputies describe him as being ‘unruly.’
Hager was given a $2 million bond.
According to court documents, Hager told police she just wanted to talk to Elmore. She believed he was an integral part of a robbery that happened at her house the day before.
