COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A man was injured early Wednesday morning at a northeast Columbus apartment complex when someone fired through a window.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 2:48 a.m., officers were called to the 4600 block of Tamarack Boulevard to apartment A-10 on the report of shots fired.

Police said someone had shot from outside the apartment, into the window striking 21-year-old Braylin Farris in the left hand and the right side of his back.

Farris, who does not live at the residence, was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

A total of nine shots were fired into the apartment, but neither Farris nor the person who lived in the residence saw who fired the gun.
