Masked men rob west Columbus residents

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) –  Columbus Police robbery detectives are investigating a home invasion that happened early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. In the 1400 block of Irene Place.

According to detectives one of the residents was taking her dog outside when two armed masked men forced her back inside of her home.

There were two other people and two children inside the home as well.

Police say the suspects forced the occupants to the floor and demanded cash.

They had no money so the men took some electronic devices and fled the home on foot.

No injuries were reported.

No arrests have been made.
