CENTRAL OHIO (WCMH) — After four suspects worked to steal a firearm from a pawn shop, investigators are asking for public tips to track down the men.
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest or indictment of the four suspects.
Security cameras captured the four unidentified males entering the Central Point Pawn Shop, at 643 Harrisburg Pike, just before 5 p.m. on June 13. They appeared to focus their attention on the area where the firearms were located behind a counter.
Investigators said two of the males headed back outside to serve as lookouts. While the store clerk was working with customers on the opposite end of the store, one of the suspects hopped over the counter and removed a Silver Desert Eagle 40-caliber handgun handing on the wall. The suspect hid the weapon in his pants, hopped back over the counter and left the store.
Store employees noticed the gun was stolen later in the day.
Three of the suspects were described as black males in their early to mid-20. The fourth suspect has a lighter complexion and is described as white or Hispanic.
