Suspicious package put Port Columbus airport on lockdown

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Airport officials said a suspicious package discovered at Port Columbus caused parts of the airport to be shut down Monday afternoon.

Officials said police investigated the scene at the baggage claim and determined the area was safe. Areas that were locked down have been reopened. Some flights are delayed, but the airport is otherwise operating as normal.
