COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person has died in a three-car crash on the city’s eastern edge.
Columbus police said one person was pronounced dead at the scene after a a truck and SUV collided near Waggoner Road and East Broad Street at about 6 p.m. Tuesday. A third car was off to the side of the road. All three vehicles had heavy damage.
A second person was taken to Grant Medical Center. Police said the victim is in stable condition.
The intersection at Waggoner Road and East Broad Street and other roads in the area were closed while investigators worked at the scene.
