Lightning may have sparked Buckeye Lake house fire

THORNVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) – An overnight fire in Perry County may have been sparked by a lightning strike.

The fire started shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Lake Drive in Thornville.

The flames were contained to the second floor of the home.

No injuries were reported, as nobody was inside the home at the time of the fire.

The official cause of the fire remains under investigation.
