Marion officials arrest three for drug trafficking

MARION, Ohio (WCMH) – Today at approximately 11 a.m., MARMET Drug Task Force members raided a drug trafficking house at 470 Oak Street in Marion, according to a press release.

MARMET was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Marion Police Department.

Two adult males and one 16-year-old female were arrested from the residence for trafficking of heroin and cocaine. Both adults were taken to the Multi-County Jail and the female was taken to the juvenile detention center.

Both males utilize the 470 Oak Street address while in Marion but are actually from Detroit, Michigan.

16 bags of heroin weighting 7.7 grams and 4 grams of cocaine, as well as numerous pieces of stolen property were seized from the residence.

Formal charges are pending with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
