7th robbery reported near OSU campus in 2 days

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The seventh robbery in two days has been reported near OSU’s campus.

Columbus Police say the robbery happened on E. 7th Avenue and King Avenue around 4:40a.m. Thursday morning.

OSU Police sent out a Crime Alert Wednesday notifying students and staff about a string of robberies.

Police say between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning six robberies were reported. Police believe those robberies are connected.

In the latest robbery, the victim told police two men took his backpack. The victim said one of the men was in his 40’s.

While, Columbus Police believe the first set of robberies were done by three men in their early 20’s.

Police are still looking for the robbery suspects.
