Police arrest 4, cite 18 during sobriety checkpoint

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Franklin County DUI Task Force issued eighteen citations and made four arrests during a sobriety checkpoint late Friday night.

Task force officials said three people were arrested for DUI, twelve were cited for license violations, three were cited for drug paraphernalia, one person was cited for an open container, one was cited for vehicle registration violations, and one was cited for child restraint violations.

Officials said eight vehicles were impounded, and one person was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Officials said 503 vehicles entered the checkpoint and 453 were checked. The checkpoint took place on Frank Road east of U.S. 62.
