Suspect wanted for deadly shooting of Memphis officer surrenders

MEMPHIS (WATE) – The man wanted for the deadly shooting of a Memphis police officer was arrested Monday afternoon.

Tremaine Wilbourn, 29, who had been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s most wanted list, turned himself in to Memphis police Monday afternoon. He reportedly shot and killed Officer Sean Bolton Saturday after the cop interrupted a drug deal involving a small amount of marijuana.

Wilbourn, who also goes by the names Tremaine Martin and “T-Streetz,” was wanted for homicide.
