Calling all ninjas

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – She is one of the most popular contestants on the NBC hit show “American Ninja Warrior” and now, Michelle Warnky is hoping to help develop future stars of the show right in her hometown.

Warnky grew up in Worthington and has competed on “American Ninja Warrior” the last three seasons. This season, she made it to the city finals in Pittsburgh. How she did in the city finals will be aired on Monday, August 10th on NBC4.

Warnky, along with “Ninja” veterans Brian and Chris Wilczewski, built the Movement Lab Ohio, a facility to help train people in parkour as well as American Ninja Warrior. Many of the obstacles you see on the show are built in their gym.

The gym in the Polaris area celebrated its soft opening on August 2nd and will have a grand opening in October.
