CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) — Police say they arrested a man and woman, both who had active warrants, who were standing outside the Circleville Police Department.
According to a release, Officer McKinney was on duty in the lobby and saw a man he recognized as Bryan Greeno. McKinney recalled Greeno had a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court, so he asked him to step inside the lobby until Officer Freeman could retrieve the warrant from the court upstairs.
Freeman served Greeno the warrant for drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments. He placed Greeno under arrest and, while searching his right upper pocket found a plastic baggy containing a suspicious substance. Greeno said it was heroin. The substance was weighed and found to be 15.7 grams. A large amount of cash, totaling $1689.03, was also found in his possession.
Greeno was charged with a felony for possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Pickaway County Jail without further incident where he was held in lieu of bond until his appearance in the Circleville Municipal Court.
Rhonda Hardman was with Greeno at the time. She also had an active arrest warrant out of the Circleville Municipal Court for drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments.
