Columbus City Schools releases updated list of school supplies

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)- With the tax sales holiday happening the weekend of August 7-9, Columbus City Schools has released the updated individualized school supply list for the upcoming school year.

While pencils, pens, and notebooks are always on the list, many of the District’s 109 separate schools recommend specific supplies or reference materials for their students. These specialized supply lists are being posted on the schools’ individual websites, which all can easily be found at www.ccsoh.us/Schools.aspx.

The state’s sales tax holiday also covers back to school clothing, including the uniforms worn at several CCS schools. The list of schools with uniform requirements – and what types and colors of clothes are permitted – is also posted online.
