Family: Earle Bruce recovering from minor stroke

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Former OSU football head coach Earle Bruce is recovering from a minor stroke, according to family.

According to Earle Bruce’s daughter Lynn Bruce, he suffered the stroke a couple weeks ago while at a family reunion in Maryland.

Lynn said her father is doing well physically, but is having some trouble speaking.

Earle Bruce is 84-years old and coached the buckeyes from 1979 until 1987.

Bruce currently works as a Buckeye analyst on 610 WTVN radio.
