COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A husband and wife were taken to the hospital after a shooting on Wager Street Thursday.

Columbus Police Sgt. Christ Holzhauser says Patria Lipson, 35, is in critical condition and Walter Lipson, 36, is in stable condition.

He said the shooting appeared to have happened in a vehicle.

Holzhauser said there is no word what led to the shooting.

The search for a suspect is ongoing.

“There is some connection between the suspect and the victims, but we have not ascertained what that is at this point,” he said.

The shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. between Thurman Avenue and Mithoff Street, near South High School. Medics said Patricia was shot in the jaw, and Walter was shot in the shoulder.
