Victim shot during drug transaction has died

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One of the victims in a Thursday afternoon shooting has died.

Columbus police said 35-year-old Patria Lipson has died as a result of her injuries sustained in a shooting.

Police said Lipson and her husband, Walter Lipson, 36, were both injured after shots were fired in the 1230 Wager St. The shooting occurred while all parties were inside a vehicle conducting a drug transaction.

This is the 60th homicide this year, according to police.
