COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’s one of several significant games during week 1 of Football Friday Nite, but at Westerville South it’s bigger than “big.” It’s the start of a new era.
Kyle Stout takes over his first head coaching job as the new coach of the Wildcats, and he inherits a team with some significant talent. Future Northwestern lineman Gunnar Vogel and future OSU defensive back Marcus Williamson lead the ‘Cats on the field.
Stout and his talented team will face an immediate test Friday as they host Olentangy. The Braves finished 13-1 last year, not losing until the D-II state semifinals.
