DELAWARE, Ohio (WCMH) — Two bank robbery suspects are in jail after an hours-long search in the Polaris area.

Alonzo D. Groce, 19 and Jonathan E. Leon, 24 were booked into the Delaware County jail overnight, both charged with aggravated robbery.

According to police, the pair robbed a PNC Bank in the City of Delaware around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Police and deputies pursued the suspects south to Polaris Parkway and South Old State Road where the men bailed from the vehicle, according to the Sheriff’s office.

Deputies said one suspect was caught shortly after the vehicle pursuit, and the second suspect was taken into custody later in the day.

According to court and records, Leon was released from prison less than a year ago after a conviction for a robbery at 4212 Eastland Square Drive in Columbus in 2009. He is still on probation for that robbery.
