CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) — Police arrested three people and confiscated a large amount of cocaine during a traffic stop in Circleville on Thursday.
According to Circleville police, a traffic stop was made shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of East Mound Street in Circleville.
After a K9 officer alerted on the vehicle, officers searched the car and its occupants.
The search revealed two baggies with a total of 81.3 grams of crack cocaine in the possession of one of the passengers.
Police arrested that passenger, Kim Smith and charged her with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs.
The driver, Kevil Jirles, was arrested and charged with complicity to possession of drugs.
The other passenger, Brandon Prater was charges with complicity to possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs.
All three are being held at the Pickaway County Jail pending court appearances.
