Crime Stoppers need public’s help IDing burglary suspect

GROVE CITY, Ohio (WCMH) — Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help locating a man who was caught on camera allegedly taking several credit cards from a residence and using them to make fraudulent purchases.

On Saturday, Aug. 29 around 2:35pm, residential surveillance equipment captured images of a man as he burglarized an attached garage of a residence on Northbranch Road in Grove City.

Midweek 9-9-15 2The suspect is seen walking up to the open overhead garage doors and casing the area, both inside and out. Seeing a security camera, the suspect uses a bag of mulch at the premises as a step in order to reach and turn the surveillance camera around in an attempt to hide his next actions.

Further evidence shows the suspect entered the garage and removed a wallet from a work bench inside the garage which contained various identification and credit cards that were later used to make fraudulent purchases at several locations in the area.

The suspect is described as a white man, 25-35 years old with short, light hair, wearing a white tank t-shirt, bright blue nylon shorts, white ankle socks, and black rubber slide-in sandals.
