Columbus police are searching for bank robbery suspect

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)–Police are looking for a man accused of robbing a bank in north Columbus Wednesday.

According to the Columbus Police Department, at about 9:18 a.m. Wednesday, a man entered the Fifth Third Bank in the 1300 block of Bethel Road and demanded cash from the teller.

Police said the suspect told the teller he would shoot him if he did not comply.

The suspect ran from the bank after receiving an undetermined amount of cash.

According to police, no weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 26-years-old, 165 to 170 pounds with dark brown hair.
