Another player accused of hitting referee

(WSMV) Did a Tennessee high school football player target an official on the field during a game on Friday night?

In the second quarter of Friday’s game at Gallatin, a Glencliff player ran over the umpire, who is positioned behind the defensive line and linebackers.

Glencliff’s Malcolm Easley collided with the umpire, Kyle Gill, as he was crossing the field in pursuit of the ball carrier.

According to The Gallatin News, a source on the field during the game heard Gill telling Easley he was getting way to close to the referees.
