Lockdown lifted at Centennial High School after report of threat

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Centennial High School was under a level 2 lockdown while school officials investigated a rumor of a threat in the building.

According to a Columbus City Schools spokesperson, the school was placed under lockdown earlier this morning after a student reported that they heard something threatening.

A level 2 lockdown means that nobody is allowed in our out of the building.

The lockdown was lifted at 9:29 a.m.
