Vacant house fire sends firefighters to hospital

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A vacant two-and-a-half story house went up in flames in the 70 block of South Hague Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Battalion Chief Tracy Smith who was on the scene said that two firefighters was taken to Mount Carmel West as stable. At least one was for chest pain.

No other injuries were reported.

Firefighters said South Hague Ave will be closed at West Broad Street for some time.
