Buckeye bloodlines: Liberty’s White follows father’s football footsteps

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Olentangy Liberty junior Brendon White has stunned opponents this season with his skill and play-making ability. He’s the latest commitment to Ohio State’s 2017 recruiting class.

It’s all in the family for Brendon.

His dad, William, was an all-Big Ten defensive back for the Buckeyes in the mid-80’s. He went on a successful NFL career, playing in a Super Bowl with the Atlanta Falcons. White played for OSU when a young graduate assistant named Urban Meyer was on the staff.

Here’s the story of how Brendon’s commitment to OSU has energized him and his family.
