The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is reporting 70-year-old Betsey Zerbey, of Darbydale, was fatally struck while out on State Route 665, east of Norton Road, after placing something in her mailbox.

Investigators said Zerbey was struck by an 85-year-old Grove City man driving a Chevrolet Cruze at about 8 p.m. Zerbey was pronounced dead at the scene.
