Marysville police urge parents to check candy after reports of tampering

MARYSVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) — Officials in Marysville are asking parents to check their children’s Halloween candy for any signs of tampering after police received multiple reports.

In a Sunday afternoon post on the city’s Facebook page, the Marysville Division of Police said they received a pair of complaints that candy had been tampered with. No injuries have been reported and the complaints remain under investigation.

Police in Reynoldsburg have also urged parents to inspect their children’s candy after a parent reported a razor blade was found in a Snickers bar.
