Urban Meyer addressed the media after practice Wednesday as the team prepares for their upcoming home game on Saturday against Minnesota.
He said J.T. Barrett has had a very busy week, but has been working with Braxton Miller and Joe Burrow at practice to prepare them as back-up quarterbacks to Cardale Jones in Saturday’s game.
Meyer also talked about Jones being human and a competitor, so he imagines it would only be natural for him to look at this game as a shot to earn the starting quarterback position back.
He said Minnesota has a very good defense, and with how passionately they played last week after losing their long-time head coach Jerry Kill, he believes the Golden Gophers will “stop the run at all costs” against the Buckeyes.
